After numerous discussions on the gedit mailing list, and more private discussions with gedit developers, we’ve decided to pursue a set of plugins that share a common interface. These plugins are the gedit-vcs project.

My name is Vic Fryzel. I'm a Google engineer, open source software developer, and graduate student in the United States. My interests are generally in the artificial intelligence domain, specifically regarding neural networks and machine learning. I'm an amateur robotics and embedded systems engineer. I also maintain a significant interest in the security of software systems. Lastly, I pay a lot of attention to the engineering processes behind large software projects.
